Autumn campaign — sign-ups now open

The Peterborough Front campaign kicks off in September, running six rounds across the autumn. Any army, any experience level — narrative missions mean a rough game plays just as well as a perfect one. Sign up at any open table night or send us a message to lock in your spot.

Batrep: Iron Wolves hold the ruins on the Peterborough Front

A brutal six-turn grind saw the Iron Wolves cling to the central ruins against a determined assault. Turn three's failed charge nearly turned the whole game — full writeup and photos from the table below.

Terrain played a bigger role than expected this game: the new ruins set (debuted a few weeks back) gave enough cover to make the defensive line viable well past the point it should have folded. Lesson for next time — bring more anti-armour, or bring cover of your own.

Three-colour speed painting for new recruits

You don't need forty paints and a wet palette to get a table-ready army. This guide covers a basecoat, wash, and single highlight approach that'll have a full squad painted in an evening — perfect for anyone who just wants to get playing.

Welcome to our newest members

Five new faces joined us this month — great to see the tables filling up. If you're new and still finding your feet, the Paint & Chat nights are the easiest way to meet people and get pointers without the pressure of a full game.
